Pongal Celebration

"PONGALO PONGAL!"

With the festive week around the corner, the students get to know our State's tradition and cultural belief. The importance of all the four auspicious days - Bhogi, Thai Pongal, Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal are taught through this celebration. As a mark of the festival, sweet Pongal is prepared and served for the students and staff. The delicacies and rituals involved are sampled and celebrated by our toddlers in their grown-up attires of Veshtis and sarees.
